Can anyone answer this quandry...
Where are platforms 1 & 2 at Wynyard Station???
I have searched high and low, inside and out, round and round but to no avail...
*scratches head in great befuddlement*...

Following in the vein of your previous post...
Perhaps no trains ever turned up, and so CityRail (or is it RailCorp now?) decided to tear up platforms 1 & 2? But if that's the case, expect to see platforms being ripped up all over the city...

or this could be one of their cost cutting measures... :)
have to ask jimmy p about it one day... ;)
heard rumours of some ghost platforms and ghost trains too..
platform 1&2 are now a car park
were used by trams till those were taken away off the bridge
was proposed at the time to have a 2nd set of tracks over the bridge
but it was not to be
so there is access but it is hidden from view and if you do go snooping expect cityrail's rent-a-cops-in-grey to approach you
