Tired......

It's been a hard day's night
And I been working like a dog

It's been a long week...
Probably one of my worst weeks in a long time...
Work was a real slog... short staff, machines breaking down, huge workload...
definitely not a fun week..

i'm glad its over.. and i can now relax on the weekend..
sleeeeeeep....
it's sooo good...

looking forward to a better week next week... :)
one can only hope!


More Encouragement

We had our first addition to our little bible study group at work on friday!! Amira joined us for the first time! I was amazed at how easy it was to invite her to join us... she asked me as usual what was for lunch, whether i was going out.. i said i wasn't, she was going to get some Yum Cha take away from Sydney Central Plaza, and offered to get some for me.. I said "Sure! But i'll be upstairs doing a bible study with a few others.. y don't u come join us then.."
she thought about it, and said YES!!!

How exciting! I was a bit uncertain going into the study, cos i'm not that familiar with her religious background. I know she goes to a Catholic church, and her kids go to a Catholic school.. but haven't heard much about her understanding otherwise. We looked at the story of Jesus healing the demon possessed man in Mark 5. Bit of a strange passage, and not easy to apply..
but from the discussion, i learnt that her parents are religious, and that she seemed really touched and encouraged by her mother's faith just before she passed away from cancer.. I hope she benefitted from our little study, and that this will reignite her desire for God's Word. I can only hope and pray.. Please pray with me as well..

This was definitely a highlight of an otherwise very very ordinary week....
