My heart longs for you my Saviour

This is a really old school song from way back in the 80's...
I think it might've been a Scripture in Song song...

For some reason it just popped into my head tonight...
But I can't remember all the lyrics, and what I've posted below is what I can mostly remember, off the top of my head...
Don't even know if it's all accurate, and I can't even find the lyrics anywhere on the web...

Does this song ring a bell for anyone?

Either way, this is a song that my heart definitely sings... :)

My heart longs for you my Saviour,
I worship in holy awe.
In quietness and in confident trust,
I give to you all that you are
My Lord and my King,
Your praises I sing
My offering of praise I bring.

Jesus, oh Jesus,
I give you my life.
Jesus, oh Jesus,
I give you my life.

Hi, Mockkie,

How are you?

Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

I like that song too. In fact, it is the opening track on a cd I recorded.

"My Heart Longs For You" was written by Claude Fraysse and Leila Hamrat in 1979 in France.

You were close with the lyrics. You remembered more of them than I did at first. Now, though, I have the lead sheet right in front of me. I won't post the lyrics, however, because they are copyrighted.

You can probably get the lyrics from CCLI ( http://www.ccli.com/UnitedStates.cfm ). Your church may already be a licensee, so maybe you can get them through them.

May the Lord bless you,
Philip
